Aims, contents and method of the course

In der Lehrveranstaltung "Applications of eBusiness and eLogistics - Gruppe 1" werten Studententeams das Verhaltens von Besuchern auf Websites von Business Cases mit Tools aus und/oder erarbeiten Online-Marketingkampagnen. Sie erlernen theoretische Grundlagen zu Search Engine Marketing (SEM) und zur Bewertung der Qualität von eBusiness relevanten Webseiten/-applikationen.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Mindestanforderung: mind. 50% der Punkte zu den Teilleistungen (Reports, Präsentation, Mitarbeit).

Aims, contents and method of the course

Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Text Analytics encompass a broad spectrum of methods, based on different concepts. Hence, it is not surprising that there exist many different definitions and new technologies open new applications in eBusiness.
The goal of the lecture is the development of a deeper understanding for some of the methods, which helps in the evaluation of applications of such methods from an economic and social perspective.
In the first units some topics are introduced and different aspects in the applications are discussed.
