Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This seminar will focus on “Green Routing”. We will discuss what green routing is from the perspectives of supply chain management and logistics. Basic models and recent approaches at green routing will be discussed using recent research articles. You will work in groups of 2-3 students on a topic that includes the implementation of a solution approach. You will also have to present and discuss your work.
Note that this seminar will be held in a hybrid manner, the specific details will be provided at a later point. We will use the tool zoom via Moodle. You will be expected to take part using a webcam and microphone with your webcam activated when participating online. The seminar will consist of
- hybrid live discussions and presentations at the given times and dates,
- input videos that you have to watch remotely.

Assessment and permitted materials

Regular presence and participation in discussion (10%, esp. moderating other groups' presentations)
Outline presentation (10%, e.g. with PowerPoint, Zwischenpräsentation)
Final presentation and discussion of topic (25%, e.g. with PowerPoint, Endpräsentation)
Implementation (25%, Implementierung)
Term paper (30%, Seminararbeit)

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Attendance is mandatory for all live meetings.
For a positive grade, students have to achieve at least 50 percent (overall score) and individually pass the term paper.
Grading key:
4: 50% to <63%
3: 63% to <75%
2: 75% to <90%
1: 90% to 100%
