Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This course familiarizes participants with the discourse on the governance of international firms. It will offer an introduction to theory and concepts in corporate governance. More specifically, the focus will be on understanding a stakeholder governance perspective towards a firm’s strategic planning so that a firm is/should be managed in the interests of a broad set of stakeholders to achieve maximum economic and social value over time.

Assessment and permitted materials

•Actively contribute to class discussions: 10%
•Quiz 1: 20%
•Quiz 2: 20%
•Quiz 3 and final written exam: 50%

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The passing grade is 50% out of the total points. Students should receive at least 20 points in the final exam.
