Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The course provides an introduction to the use of applied structural econometrics in modern economics. In particular, the course will provide students the opportunity to learn how to code and estimate a structural model, how to show the results in a presentation, and how to structure a research paper. Empirical applications in Stata, R, Python, and MATLAB illustrate the methods.
Assessment and permitted materials
Replication code (20%), Presentation (40%) and Paper (40%).
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
To pass, students need to achieve at least 50% of the maximum achievable score in total.
