Aims, contents and method of the course

This course covers theoretical knowledge in financial and managerial accounting and its application in MS Excel: Annual financial statement, Valuations, Cashflow calculations, Integrated budget, Key performance indicators, Sustainability reporting, Simulations
After passing this course, students should be able to perform tasks in MS Excel in the field of financial and managerial accounting.

Assessment and permitted materials

Exam about the learned content in financial and managerial accounting; Project in Excel

The use of AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) for the production of texts is only permitted if they are expressly requested by the course leader (e.g. for individual work tasks).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

To attend this course, you have to be present during the first online-lecture.
Exam (70%); Project in Excel (30%)

Grading: 0-49,99 = 5; 50-62,99 = 4; 63-74,99 = 3; 75-86,99 = 2; 87-100 = 1

To pass the course, you have to achieve a positive grade on the exam (>=50%)!
