Aims, contents and method of the course
This seminar is designed to advance students' understanding of key concepts introduced in preceding corporate finance courses. Its primary goal is to guide students in crafting a comprehensive literature review and identifying a relevant topic for their master's thesis in corporate finance. Assessment and permitted materials
Grades in this course will be determined based on your presentations (45%), term paper (45%), and active class participation (10%). There are no exams in this course.Class attendance is mandatory and vital for your participation grade. Please note that arriving on time and staying for the full duration of each class is a requirement for attendance to be counted.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Enrollment in this course requires successful completion of "Corporate Finance I" or an equivalent course in corporate finance as a prerequisite.Successful completion of the course requires:1. Achieving a minimum aggregate score of 50% across all graded components.
2. Timely submission of all assignments by their specified deadlines.
3. Regular attendance at all class meetings, with active participation.
