Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This lecture gives an introduction to economic psychology. We cover (1) how psychology informs informs economics, (2) how preference and value are constructed, (3) decision under uncertainty and ambiguity aversion, (4)choice over time, (5) (mis)predicting future taste and utility, (6) choice architecture.

Assessment and permitted materials

The final written exam (10 Multiple Choice questions and 2 open questions) takes place at the end of the semester.
In the following semester, three further exams are offered - usually in September, November and January for the Winter term.

- 5 Points per open question
- 20 Points total
- 11 Points to pass

Recommended but not! mandatory readings will be announced on the lectures. However, I only cover the slides on the exam. This means that you really need to understand what is on the slides.
