Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
This course will be assessed upon the presentation (50%) and the quality of discussion (50%).Passing requires both a satisfying presentation AND active contributions in discussions of the work of others.
Moreover, it is mandatory to upload a preliminary set of slides (at least) one week prior to the presentation. The slides can still be adjusted until presentation. The early availability provides peers a chance to acquaint themselves with the thesis topic and prepare their discussion accordingly. Slides and communication with the peers will be part of the grade.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Participation is restricted to students registered for a master thesis. The approval of the thesis topic by the SSC needs to be documented.Successful completion of modul A1 is required as specified in the Curriculum.Students of the Master's programmes in Business Administration or International Business Administration only will be registered for the Master´s Thesis Seminar if they passed the VO Basics of Finance (MA).The master thesis has to be officially registered and to be completed by about 2/3.Regular attendance at all presentations is mandatory.A positive grade requires both a presentation of at least passing quality as well as participation of at least passing quality.
