Aims, contents and method of the course
The seminar examines a series of topics on industry-specific problems in public utility management
Assessment and permitted materials
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Aim of the course is to familiarise students with public sector firms and their specific characteristics.
Students are encouraged to explore recent developments in business, economics and political sciences research which are particularly relevant for managing regulated and/or public enterprises.
Building on this foundation students analyse and critically assess questions posed by the business literature on transport, energy, postal services, telecommunications and health services industries.
