Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The course focus on quantitative methods of decision support systems for business problems. We model business management issues and optimize them using suitable methods. Additionally to the lectures, the course will cover exercises in class to apply the learned methods. Some Topics covered in the lecture are:
- Modelling of linear and integer programs
- Heuristics
- Branch-and-bound
- Dynamic Programming

Assessment and permitted materials

The grading will be based on a single exam.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

At least 50% have to be obtained for a positive grade.
