Whether on-premises architecture or modern cloud platforms - in the context of use, processes in which the IT-systems are used, the resulting or acquired data, but also the IT-systems among themselves, typically have to be considered.
In the course UK IBIS 1, the basics are looked at by presenting and discussing the important influencing factors.Clarification of main concepts and terms:
- IT systems
- Cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- Integration
- Data processing and data analysis
- Basics of machine learning and artificial intelligenceDeveloping an understanding of the interdependencies with the associated risks but also with the contained economic potential.
As part of this course, a practical case study and a programming exercise are worked on.
The programming exercise involve databases and data traffic over a network.
