Students can achieve a total of 40 points in the course: 36 points are awarded in the two examinations , 4 points can be obtained through participation in the course units. Examination: written examinations with open questions; duration 45 minutes each.

Examination topics

This course aims to provide basic knowledge of insolvency law. In addition to an introduction to the function and concern of the legal field in question, the persons and bodies involved, the prerequisites for opening insolvency proceedings and the substantive insolvency law, specifically the effects of opening insolvency proceedings and the main features of the right of avoidance, are to be explained in more detail. In addition, the main features of the reorganisation plan and the reorganisation procedure will be presented and the special provisions for the insolvency of a natural person will also be presented and discussed.Objectives:
To provide the fundamentals of insolvency law and other important aspects of the company in crisis.
Method:
Face-to-face lecture.
The course materials for the individual course units are made available to the students according to the specified time and topic schedule of the course (available in Moodle), so that the chosen structure and the desired content of the course can be ensured. After the uploading of the respective documents the students can access them at any time. In any case, the documents made available remain online until the end of the course.
