- Klassische Wohlfahrtsökonomie (Erstes und zweites Wohlfahrtstheorem, Marktversagen, Theorie des Zweitbesten)

- Umweltpolitik: Ziele (Effizienz, Räumliche und intertemporale Überlegungen, Schadensfunktionen)

- Umweltpolitik: Instrumente (Command-and-Control, Coase-ähnliche Ansätze, marktbasierte Instrumente)

- Internationale Umweltprobleme (Internationale Zusammenarbeit aus spieltheoretischer Perspektive, Klimawandel, Internationaler Handel & Umwelt)

- Kosten-Nutzen-Analyse (Intertemporale Wohlfahrtsökonomie, Risiko und Unsicherheit, Stern Review, „Green Accounting“)

- Bewertung von Umweltleistungen (Compensating Surplus, Equivalent Surplus, Contingent Valuation)
