Aims, contents and method of the course

Objectives
* Usage of Microsoft C++ Express Edition 2010
* Basic knowledge in C++ programming
* only concepts and functions that are relevant for implementation of optimization algorithms
* no software engineering in the general sense (no object-oriented programming, no user interfaces, no software architectures)
* Methodological knowledge for developing simple algorithms and their translation into C++
* Implementation of solution methods for combinatorial problems in C++
* Algorithms for graph problems
* Algorithms for the travelling salesman problem
* (Meta-) heuristics algorithms for the vehicle routing problem

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Einordnung des Kurses:
Der 4-stündige VK Implementierung von Optimierungsverfahren wird als
Nicht-BWL-Modul zu den KFK Produktionsmanagement und Logistikmanagement
angeboten. Der Kurs ist vor allem für Studierende der BWL und IBWL
gedacht, die beabsichtigen, eine Diplomarbeit oder Dissertation am
Lehrstuhl für Produktion und Logistik zu schreiben. Studierenden der
Wirtschaftsinformatik wird die Absolvierung anderer Nicht-BWL-Module der
KFK empfohlen.
