Aims, contents and method of the course
The VK 'Organization and Human Resources' deepens the contents of the accordant EK, which is also the prerequisite for attending the course. We apply organizational theories on case studies. These case studies deal with different alternatives in coordinating economic activities (hierarchy, network, and market). Special focus is put on the organizational structure and organizational processes. Additionally, we practice the controlling in decentralized structures. Additionally, we discuss the main topics in human resource management. In any possible organizational structure, the effective use of human resources is critical to the success of the organization. The VK focuses on the areas of recruiting and human resource development.
Assessment and permitted materials
Die Endnote setzt sich aus einer Endklausur (40%), der Bearbeitung einer Fallstudie (40%), sowie Tests (20%) zusammen.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The objective of this course is to impart competent knowledge in organization and human resources by practically applying the basic theoretical contents acquired in the EK.
Examination topics
