Aims, contents and method of the course

In the frame of the seminar, students obtain a deeper understanding of specific topics in the realm of comparative industrial/labour relations. They identify a topic of interest, carry out independent research (review of literature) and draft a seminar paper based on recent theoretical and empirical research.

Assessment and permitted materials

Seminar paper by individual authors or in small groups.
Aktive participation during the seminar and feedback to colleagues.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Advanced knowledge of theory and empirical research in comparative industrial relations.

Examination topics

Introductory lectures, student presentations of their own research study (seminar paper) and its progress (conceptualization, exposé, first draft of study), group discussions and feedback.
