Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This course gives a broad introduction into theories of organization. It covers both, economic and behavioral views of organization. The information processing view, interactions between organization structure and environment, as well as the role of bounded rationality, knowledge and organizational learning are also discussed.

Assessment and permitted materials

Mid-term exam (30%): three open questions (closed book)
Term paper (40%)
Final exam (30%): three open questions (closed book)

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Regular attendance (min. 80%)
>= 50% overall assessment
