Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Together with Professor DDr.Peter Lewisch, Department of Criminal Law, Faculty of Law

Preliminary: Being part of the ERASMUS MUNDUS Program “European Master of Law and Economics-EMLE” this seminar will start after the arrival of the students after Easter.

This Seminar will deal with law and economics-approaches to terrorism and organized crime. However, at the beginning issues concerning the role of the state (“From the protective state to the productive state”) will be discussed in order to frame the issues at hand appropriately.
The format of the seminar will be presentation of core scholarly contributions by students.
Papers for selection and collection will be available by mid of March.
The opening session will be on Thursday, April 11 2013 at 16 hours. Location to be announced!
