Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The lecture series introduces the sociological perspective into economic action and offers an overview over societal determinants of economic life. The lectures cover basic sociological concepts and theories, the history of thought in economic sociology, principles of coordination in the economy as well as relational, institutional and cultural factors of economic action. Students obtain an understanding of the contents of the lectures and are able to reproduce them and apply them in everyday life.
Assessment and permitted materials
A written exam in the classroom is planned. No material allowed. A dictionary mother tongue - German may be used.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Written exam in classroom: For a positive mark minimum 45 percent of the maximum number of points (100) must be obtained. Scale: 45–59=4, 60–69=3, 70–79=2, 80–100=1
