Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Students receive an introduction into the different aspects of business administration as pertaining to social studies. A particular focus is put on giving an overview over the scope and application of business administrative teachings and its different sub areas:
management, sales and marketing, production, materials management and logistics, investment and finance, accounting and financial analysis. The last mentioned area is investigated in particular under the aspect of recording of, and compressing the informational value from money and service flows arising during the process of value-creation.
The module apprises students of the different specialization options and the occupational fields open to business administration graduates.

Assessment and permitted materials

To complete the course a separate u:space-registration to one of the offered exam dates is necessary!
PLEASE NOTE: Without a registration to an exam date you will not be able to participate in the exam. A registration after the end of the registration deadline is not possible. Please note the registration periods announced on u:find.

Permitted materials during the exam:
-non-programmable calculator
-a dictionary (without notes!!!)
-not permitted are specialized economic or social sciences dictionaries.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The exam consists of 60 multiple-choice questions: 20 from accounting, 40 from business administration.

grading:
<50%: nicht genügend
50% bis 62,5%: genügend
62,5% bis 75%: befriedigend
75% bis 87,5%: gut
ab 87,5%: sehr gut

- non-preprogrammable calculator
- foreign language dictionary: clear of personal notations/markings; not permissible: specialized dictionary for social sciences or economics!!!
