Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The course provides a historical framework for understanding global business since the 19th century. It shows how entrepreneurs build a global economy during the 19th century, how the global economy disintigrated during the interwar period, and how it has been rebuild since then. We consider natural resource, manufacturing, and sercive firms. The impact of internal organization and the impact of public policy on multnational firms is considered.
