Aims, contents and method of the course

- Introduction to business informatics
in particular: Foundations of the hard- and software infrastructure
- Research methods in business informatics
in particular: Design-oriented Business Informatics
- Enterprise Modelling
in particular: Procedural models, Basics of business process modelling,
IT architecture modelling, data modelling/data base systems, relational model
outlook on: meta modelling

Assessment and permitted materials

Written exam at the end of the semester. It is necessary to register before the exam separately in PISWI if you want to take the exam.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Presentation of the foundations of business informatics with a special focus on research methods and application areas; Presentation of methods for data modelling and transfer to data base systems
