Subject specific gals: Students can:

design user-friendly and universally accessible human-computer interfaces

integrate basic features of cognitive- and communication psychology into the context of HCI

apply user interface - and usability guidelines

apply the Human-Centered Design-Process in the development of a simple, interactive Website/application

evaluate user interfaces regarding their usabilty

Generic goals:

students gain insight into another field and thereby extend their scientific thinking

students develop more openness toward the perspectives of other sciences

students experience teamwork and are able to reflect upon it
