Aims, contents and method of the course

Technologies of Multimedia Information Systems in the fields of Multimedia Standards, Archiving and Preservation, Multimedia Metadata, Adaptive Media, Multichannel Delivery, Multimedia Authoring, Digital Memory Technologies, Augmented Reality, Mobile Multimedia Metadata Management, and Multimedia Environments.

Assessment and permitted materials

Submission of several documents (Requirements and Design Specification, Intermediate Report, Final Report)
Final presentation of prototype and achieved results
Quality and effectiveness of proposed solutions

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Individual research on a given topic, independent work, deep understanding of topics and relevant literature, acquisition of project management and individual problem solving skills!

Examination topics

Analysis of related work, design and development of prototypes in a small project team, documentation and presentation of results
