Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Examining technologies and available applications for building multimedia Web information systems. Focus on Semantic Web technologies and, metadata standards.
Assessment and permitted materials
In this course you have to solve three assignments, each of which has a maximum number of 100 points. For each assignment, grading will be based on the completion of the assigned tasks and the demonstrated understanding of the technologies and underlying theories at the exercise interview. The final grade will be calculated from the mean of all three assignments using the following scale:0 - 49: 5
50 - 62: 4
63 - 75: 3
76 - 88: 2
89 - 100: 1

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Knowledge about the design and implementation of a Web Service (Semantic Modelling, RESTful Web Services, Interlinking of Datasets, AJAX)
Examination topics
The assignment should be solved by the students individually. To solve the assignments links to literature/tutorials are provided in Moodle as well as support is given through the Moodle forum.
