Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The class will provide an introduction into law for students of computer science and will cover a range of topics from data protection law to intellectual property law and regulation of artificial intelligence. Lectures will be held in cooperation with the staff of the Department of Innovation and Digitalisation in Law and therefore some of the lectures will be taught in English.
Assessment and permitted materials
The exam is a written test consisting of multiple-choice questions on the topics taught in the lectures and is an open book examination. Use of a dictionary is also allowed for students whose native language is not German. Contact with others during the exam is strictly prohibited and will be considered as use of an unauthorized aid. The registrations to the exams must be done separately. See further details above under "Examination dates".
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students must acquire at least 50% of the points at the exam.
The grading scale for the exam will be:
1: at least 22,75 points.
2: at least 19,5 points.
3: at least 16,25 points.
4: at least 13 points.
5: below 13 points.
