    Information

    Aims, contents and method of the course

    Ziel dieser UE ist, die wichtigsten Konzepte und Ideen moderner Betriebssysteme zu verstehen und praktisch anwenden zu können. Neben der Funktionsweise grundlegender Betriebssystemstrukturen vertiefen wir die Kenntnisse in den vier großen Teilgebieten Prozessmanagement, Memory-Management (Hauptspeicher), Storage-Management (Festspeicher) und Betriebssystemsicherheit.

    Der Besuch der zugehörigen VO Betriebssysteme (051021) wird dringend empfohlen.

    Assessment and permitted materials

    Insgesamt können 100 Punkte erreicht werden. Diese setzen sich wie folgt zusammen:
    - 4 praktische Übungsaufgaben, welche eigenständig gelöst werden müssen. Bei jeder Übungsaufgabe können bis zu 20 Punkte erreicht werden.
    - Multiple-Choice-Test in Moodle (maximal 20 Punkte erreichbar, keine Hilfsmittel erlaubt)
