Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
The evaluation covers the handling of the entire project, the practical implementation and the preparation of the bachelor thesis. The permitted aids are determined in the project specification.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The goal is the proven comprehensive understanding of the underlying problems, as well as the ability to apply the necessary concepts, techniques and methods for the development of a suitable solution.The assessment is made as follows:
Presentation + Milestones: 10% (The first three milestones: 3% (quality / quantity of progress)
Design & Code: 45%
Thesis: 45% (30%: Content (quality of the proposed solution, evaluation, etc.), 15%: written execution)To finish the course positively you have to get:
- at least 50% of the points for the thesis
- at least 50% of the points for the code AND
- at least 50% of the points for the presentation.Assessment standard:
1: at least 87.5%.
2: at least 75.0%
3: at least 62.5%
4: at least 50.0%A detailed specification of the requirements as well as instructions and hints for the execution of the internship will be announced at the beginning of the course.Details see: http://informatik.univie.ac.at/bachelorarbeit
