Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Goal is the guided implementation of a software project. The students should be enabled to independently carry out projects based on the experience gained during the implementation after completion of the bachelor's program. Another goal is also the consolidation of previously imparted knowledge.
The Bachelor's thesis is a final project in the Bachelor's program and therefore requires a comprehensive knowledge of the course content previously offered in the program and should therefore generally be completed in the 6th semester (see semester plan for the curriculum).

Assessment and permitted materials

The handling of the entire project, the practical implementation and the preparation of the bachelor thesis are assessed. The permitted aids are determined within the framework of the project specification.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The objective is to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the issues underlying the task and to enable the application of the necessary concepts, techniques and methods for the development of an appropriate solution.

Examination topics

Independent processing of a task (project-oriented approach).
