Aims, contents and method of the course

Assessment and permitted materials

The performance assessment in the VU Enterprise Architecture is based on the following assessment criteria:
* Written exam (20%)
* Case study on Enterprise Architecture Management in group work (45%)
* Group submissions on the progress of the case study during the semester (20%)
* Participation during the units & weekly assignments (15%)
o Presentations of homework in the units in group work (max. 2 presentations per group; up to 5% per presentation)
o Active participation and interaction in the student forum (up to 5%)

A total of 50% must be achieved across all partial performances.
No aids are permitted during the written examination.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The total sum of the scores must exceed 50% of the maximum achievable score. The distribution key is as follows:
* very good (1) >= 87.00%
* good (2) >= 75,00%
* satisfactory (3) >= 63,00%
* sufficient (4) >= 50.00%
* insufficient (5) < 50.00 %

Attendance is compulsory in the course. In order to be positively evaluated, students may be absent for a maximum of 2 units.

All contents of the theoretical lectures are relevant for the written exam.
All contents of the script covered in the theoretical lectures are relevant for the written exam.

For the case study, the slides shown and the literature (on Moodle) provide all the information so that the students can deal with the tasks independently.
