Aims, contents and method of the course

The aim of the course is to provide an initial overview of the study program for the UF DGI and INF in the Verbund Nordost and to reflect on the future job profile in the context of the general education school subjects DGI and INF in secondary education. To this end, students learn about the current curricula and educational standards for the subjects of digital literacy and computer science in general secondary education in Austria, but also for comparison with other countries, and are able to analyze, interpret and critically discuss them.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Regular attendance at all appointments, completing the written exercises and handing them in on time, oral and active participation during the appointments.

Examination topics

Curricula of the general school subjects DGI and INF in secondary education in AT
Further topics will be announced in the course.
