Aims, contents and method of the course

• Building and teaching digital skills
• Didactically sensible, integrative use of digital media
• Use digital devices competently for teaching/learning
• critical, differentiated and coherent consideration of “new media”

- Content
This course provides a theoretical and practical discussion of the topic of “teaching and learning with digital media”. The teaching of digital skills in all areas against the background of an ever faster changing society aims at comprehensive media education.
Media education
Media education (media didactics, media education, media competence)
Didactics of digital media - development of skills for the integrative use of digital media in teaching
- Method of the course
Lecture, cooperative forms of learning, application of teaching concepts by students, individual, team and group work

Assessment and permitted materials

E-portfolio
Collaborative group work in a media education project
Presentation in the seminar and feedback

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The minimum requirements for a positive assessment are the following examination components, which must be completed in accordance with the instructions of the course management:

Active participation in face-to-face events and regularly maintained reflection portfolio (e-portfolio view 1), 30 percent/points
Summary documentation of the seminar results in a presentation portfolio (e-portfolio): 30 percent/points
Group project: 40 percent/points

For a positive assessment, at least 51 percent/points must be achieved.

To ensure good scientific practice, the course management can provide for an oral reflection of the submitted e-portfolio views.
