Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
In this course students learn how to bridge gaps between medias. At first they learn how to program games with Unity 3D. Then they put every rendered frame into a video codec, and send the output data over a network to a client, that shows the result and allows feedback sent to the game server.
Assessment and permitted materials
Every week students have to solve a unique task. At the end of a semester students have to present a final unique game of their own, together with a streaming client.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
At least 60% of the tasks must be done, and at the end of the semester there must be a running game and streaming client.
Grading depends on weekly tasks (70%) and end project (30%)
