Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Understanding and assessment of fundamental concepts and principles for development of Cloud-based applications and infrastructures. Ability to set up and maintain Cloud infrastructures and development of Cloud-based applications using state-of-the-art cloud computing frameworks, cloud toolkits, web services and big data technologies.
Assessment and permitted materials
Practical exercises, individual and group projects, oral and written project presentations and documentation, written exam; details see Cewebs lecture site

Prerequisite knowledge:
Software Engineering, OOP, Java, parallel computing, Linux administrationPrerequisite courses:
IS Technology (alter Studienplan) or Scientific Programming (alter Studienplan) or Distributed Systems Engineering or Parallel ComputingMandatory presence;Marks are determined based on practical exercises/projects and final test:Requirements for a positive grade:
At least 50% on practical exercises
AND
At least 50% on final testGrading Scheme:
>= 89% Sehr Gut (1)
>= 76% Gut (2)
>= 63% Befriedigend (3)
>= 50% Genügend (4)
< 50% Nicht Genügend (5)
