Aims, contents and method of the course

Selected topic in High Performance Computing with a focus on programming languages, implementation of applications, performance analysis and scalability.

Students acquire theoretical and practical knowledge in High Performance Computing.

Lectures by instructors (mandatory attendance!);
presentation of selected topics by students and realization of HPC projects.

Assessment and permitted materials

Successful implementation and evaluation of HPC projects; final written exam

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Requirements for a positive grade:
More than 50% of points on practical projects
AND
more than 50% of points on final exam.
