Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

75 years have passed since the beginning of the massive influx of immigrants to Israel (then Palestine) from Austria. The mass immigration to what was then Palestine was triggered by the persecution of the Jews by Nazi dictatorship.
For most of the newcomers, it was a journey to an unknown land. Awaiting them was a painful process of adjustment to new surroundings, a harsh climate, a strange language, and a diminished standard of living. Despite the difficulties, they contributed to many areas such as industrial enterprises and hotel industry. The immigrants also made an impact in the world of commerce and made a major contribution to the development of all academic spheres, health services and furthermore.
