Aims, contents and method of the course
Already in antiquity, Jewish literature developed in a discourse with and in interpretation of earlier authoritative Literature. In its interpretative approach Judaism was influenced by the interpretative strategies of other ancient cultures. By way of this interpretative and intercultural discourse ancient Judaism was able to develop key components of its cultural memory and religion.
