Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The lecture part provides an overview of the development of archaeologiocal methods in Egypt, and the modern methodology. By examples from excavations the documentation and other methods, and state of the art will be demonstrated.
In the exercices the application of the methods will be trained, including identification, documentation and description of finds.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written test (lecture part) 45%, Essay in the practices 45%, acitve participation in the exercices (10%).
