Aims, contents and method of the course

Within the module Middle Ages knowledge should be imparted on techniques in the field of production and exchange in the Middle Ages. This relates primarily to craft techniques and agricultural techniques, but also to infrastructural aspects or administrative elements. Students will read substantial literature on these issues. They will work on some specific aspects on their own or on larger areas in working-groups and present the results (oral and written).
