Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

In this course, students will learn the basics of archaeology of the Migration Period and the Early Middle Ages under the guidance of the lectures. The students learn through the supervion of the teachers and their own contribution about the material culture and how to determine the finds chronologically and regionally In addition, key findings will be discussed in detail.

Assessment and permitted materials

active participation, oral (156-20 min) and written (2500 words +/- 10%) presentation of an agreed topic according to the current state of archaeological research.
