Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Mündliche Präsentation, schriftliches Referat sowie Vorstellung eines Fundobjektes aus der Spätantike/dem Frühmittelalter
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
mündlich (30%) und schriftliche (40%) Vorstellung eines vereinbarten Themas nach dem Stand der derzeitigen archäologischen Forschung, mündliche und schriftliche Vorstellung eines Fundes (20%), Anwesenheit und aktive Teilnahme an der Lehrveranstaltung (10%) (max. 2x unentschuldigtes Fehler ist gestattet. Es müssen alle Teilleistungen erbracht werden.

In dem Kurs sollen die Studierenden unter Anleitung der Lehrenden wesentliche Grundlagen zur Archäologie der Völkerwanderungszeit und des Frühmittelalters erlernen. Durch Vermittlung der Lehrende sowie durch eigene Beiträge lernen die Studierenden die Materielle Kultur kennen und sowohl chronologisch wie regional zu verorten. Zudem werden Schlüsselfunde ausführlich besprochen.
