Aims, contents and method of the course

This class introduces into the academic study of ancient Jewish literature.

Assessment and permitted materials

Active Participation.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The students will learn how to study ancient Jewish literature guided by scholarly method.

Examination topics

Exercises on the individual exegetical methods with Hebrew sample texts.
