Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The seminar mirrors the lecture course of the same name, dealing with the methods, theories and outstanding issues involved in developing a forward-looking research-based inter/transdisciplinarty archaeology. Participants will be encouraged to pick a transdisciplinary subject area (light stable isotopic dietary reconstruction, aDNA, REET taphonomy, XRF necrosol identification, and so on) and investigate ist characteristics in an international setting by way of developing a case study.
Assessment and permitted materials
Presentation of case study as powerpoint and reflective essay.
