Aims, contents and method of the course

Das Seminar beschäftigt sich mit der israelischen Gesellschaft seit der Gründung des Staates Israel. Im Speziellen geht es um die letzten 3 Jahrzehnte. Auf Basis ausgewählter Lektüre und Filmsequenzen von israelischen AutorenInnen/RegisseurInnen werden wir kulturelle, politische und soziale Aspekte der israelischen Gesellschaft diskutieren.

Referate und Seminar-Arbeiten.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Sowohl über aktuelle Literatur über die israelische Gesellschaft zu lernen, als auch Literatur als historische bzw. zeitdokumentarische Quellen zu verwenden.

Historische Methode. Literatur als Quelle.
