2.) practical part - Papers / identifying & research exercise of the students to individual musical instruments (oral presentation of 20 minutes (PowerPoint) and written work introducing one or several instruments, dating, cultural classification, findings, typology, classification of musical instruments, possibly calculating the eigenfrequenzy, focus: Central Europe
3.) manual-musical-acoustic part (making of simple instruments, playing, acoustic analysis, musical examples / interpretations.The aim of the course is to convey a broad knowledge of prehistoric musical instruments, recognizing them, chronological, cultural and organological classifying, and give statements about acoustic and craftmanship.Method:
The first part takes place as lectures of the teacher. In the second part, students present their papers, which they made by research of literature. The third part is dedicated to build simple musical instruments, their acoustical analyses and measuring and the playing of the instruments.
