Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The basic content is based on the stratigraphical excavation method defined by E.C.- Harris and focused on the production of a stratigraphical sequence in thory and practice.

Assessment and permitted materials

participation and final computer test.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The basic objectives are the recognition of units of stratification, analog and digital stratigraphic documentation, production of a valid stratigraphic sequence and the basics of stratigraphic analysis.

Examination topics

Archaeological Stratigraphy
Production of valid stratigraphic sequences and the logical framework are practically trained based on realistic examples using new software.
