Aims, contents and method of the course

In-depth understanding of archaeological prospection using ground penetrating radar. Reference to the benefits and potential of the method, theoretical background, measurement techniques, data processing, data visualisation and interpretation, as well as a theoretical introduction to practical applications; The content of the course is taught through frontal teaching with actual examples and involvement of the students through questions and discussion.
Methods: Practically oriented lectures with clear, colourful presentations.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written exam. Dates and conditions will be announced.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Knowledge and understanding of the use of georadar in archaeology. At least half of the maximum number of possible points must be achieved.
