Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The workshop on methods will discuss relational approaches in history and neighboring disciplines (inter alia comparative studies, cultural transfer, translational studies, transnational history) and interdisciplinary crossovers between history and social sciences (inter alia Oral History, social science interview techniques, participating field research).
Students will also have the opportunity to present the concepts and research methods of their future master thesis or another research project.

Regular attendance of the seminar
In depth reading and discussion of the provided literature
Presentation of your master thesis project or another research project
