Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

In this course the implementation history of scientific work is practiced step by step, with the end result an independent scientific work produced. The topics will be selected from the range of the High Middle Ages in particular the constitutional, church, social and cultural history of the 9th and 10 Century.

Assessment and permitted materials

Be required to work: exposé bibliography, presentation and written seminar paper. -The presentations are discussed in plenary with detailed feedback. Regular attendance to the meetings and participation in the discussions is therefore also a prerequisite for a positive outcome of the pro-seminar.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The goal is a qualified seminar paper, which will serve to prepare a larger seminar work.

Weitere Literatur wird in der Vorbesprechung am 10. Oktober angegeben, ebenso erfolgt an diesem Termin die Vergabe der zu bearbeitenden Themen.
