Details on Moodle...

The exam may be written either in English, French or German.
If the university is closed: the first and second part of the exam will take place on the agreed date via moodle, but will only take 45 minutes. You may only answer with the help of what you have in your head, so no internet, no transcripts, etc.
The third part of the exam is "open book", to be written at home. You will get the question on the day of the exam (when you get part 1 and part 2). You have one week to write down your answer them, and upload it to Moodle. You can use any resources on Moodle (including the manuals) and your class notes for this part. Recommendation is, do not use the web or other documents (you are tested on this course and its readings). You will not be able to collaborate with anyone. Your answers will automatically go through a program that tests for plagiarism (and may catch cooperation). Plagiarism will be penalized.

University regulations dictate that students have 4 opportunities to take the exam, the first at the end of the class semester. I

Assessment and permitted materials

3 part exam: I. Identification of 2 out of 4 images (0-20 points); II. Quick identification of 10 concepts or persons or events from the textbook (0-30 points, 16 needed to pass the whole exam, i.e., 15,5 or below on this part means a Fail, 5 or F); III. Essay question synthetic in nature based on instructor´s lectures, recorded with slides, and accessorily of textbooks (0-60 points).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Under 51/100 points is a fail (5, F), 51-62,5 is a 4 (D), 63-74,5 is a 3 (C), 75-87,5 is a 4 (B), 88-110/100 is a 1 (A).

Examination topics
